Welcome to your Training Navigation Tool

Whether you’re looking for generalized training or for qualifying options under niche programs such as the Atlantic Immigration Pilot (AIP), this tool will therefore walk you through a few quick questions to help you decide what training options will work best for you.

Select Training

As our region rapidly becomes increasingly vibrant and diverse, our suite of training options is designed to help you build paths of inclusion for culturally-diverse people in all aspects of our community.

Our solutions include:

Intercultural Training

Culture Connects is our award-winning Intercultural Competency Training (ICT), designed to help you avoid the traps of unconscious bias and build bridges to connect across differences. Our tailored workshops combine insights and practical guidance to lay down a strong foundation of core skills, which are then tailored to your organization’s specific needs across a range of sectors.

Whether it’s a few hours, a full day, in-person, virtual, or even self-paced online, we allow for flexible training schedules that work with the realities of your operational demands, ensuring everyone can access the key information in the way that works for you.

Anti-Racism Initiatives

Racialized groups all too often face additional barriers in our community. Through our RePRESENT NB program, we can provide their allies with the insight, resources, and guidance into how to think and act with an anti-racism lens.

Domestic and Intimate Partner Violence (DIPV)

Non-status, Refugee and Immigrant (NSRI) women are likewise impacted by DIPV. But in addition to the regular obstacles, NSRI women face added challenges. Language barriers, cultural traditions, gender expectations, and a lack of social networks are just a few of the obstacles conspiring to keep this vulnerable population insulated and invisible.

To address these unique challenges, NBMC has launched IMvisible NB, a new program designed to empower NSRI women experiencing DIPV. For more details on the program, see here
